Chionesu Bakari Ghana Take Over 2025

Our Story
The Chionesu Bakari Program for Young Men embarked on a once in a lifetime experience in Ghana for its College and College-bound young men and their mentors this past March 1 to March 8, 2025.  The journey was the ultimate alignment to the organization’s mission of providing experiences that broaden young men’s outlook and connection to their history. This tour exposed the young men and mentors to Ghana’s culture and a wide range of current and historical topics in Ghana. From the bustling capital city of Accra, the Ashanti Kingdom to the UNESCO World Heritage slave castle, this trip left them with a profound understanding of Ghana’s unique heritage and their African origin story!
